JACQUES BONNEAU JOINS EASTMAIN AS SPECIAL ADVISOR

Eastmain Resources Inc. (TSX - ER) is pleased to announce that Mr. Jacques Bonneau has
accepted a position on its Special Advisory Board, to provide strategic and technical advice to
the Corporation. Mr Bonneau has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He is the
former President and CEO of Mazarin Inc. and Sequoia Minerals Inc. and former Vice President
of Exploration for SOQUEM, Vior Inc. and Virginia Inc.
During Mr. Bonneau’s tenure at Sequoia, the company reached annual metal and mineral sales
of $40 Million, which led to its merger with Cambior Inc. in 2004. Mr. Bonneau presently serves
as a director of Metco Resources Inc. and Midland Exploration Inc.
Mr. Bonneau has been involved with all facets of the exploration industry, in both a technical
and corporate capacity. Jacques has been directly involved in the discovery, acquisition and
reactivation of several gold, base metal and industrial mineral deposits in Québec. He was the
recipient of the Québec Mineral Exploration Association’s Hector Authier Award in 2001, for
recognition of his career accomplishments in the entrepreneurial development of Québec’s
mining industry.

Club, 303 Bay St., Toronto, Ontario.
Eastmain is a Canadian gold exploration company with 100% ownership of the Eau Claire and Eastmain gold deposits, located
in James Bay, Québec. The Company has budgeted a minimum of $3.5 million for gold and base metal exploration in Québec
and Ontario for 2007. Eastmain’s Québec project portfolio includes twelve properties covering over 1200 km2 in the
Eastmain/Opinaca gold camp, where Les Mines Opinaca Ltée. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldcorp Inc. is advancing the
Éléonore Project (Roberto gold deposit) towards production.
